Fyllingen Lions Triumph Over Tromsø Storm
The Fyllingen Lions continued their impressive offensive form with a commanding 106–88 victory over Tromsø Storm. The win was even more remarkable as the Lions played without key players Dashawn Davis, Lars Espe, and Haji Jawara.
A Thrilling Offensive Showcase
Both teams delivered a strong offensive performance, with Tromsø Storm shining in the second quarter by scoring an impressive 36 points and briefly taking the lead before halftime. The visitors remained just two points behind (70–72) midway through the third period, but couldn’t keep pace with Fyllingen’s dominant finish. This marks the Lions’ sixth game of the season scoring triple digits.
Standout Individual Performances
Once again, Bouna Black Ndiaye led the charge for Fyllingen, finishing as the game’s top scorer with an outstanding 32 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds. Joel Kanyinda put up a powerful double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Nikolas Skouen also stood out, contributing 11 points, 10 assists, and 6 steals.
Oliver Bojang Visnes delivered his best performance of the season, tallying 17 points, 6 steals, 5 assists, and 3 blocks. Meanwhile, Eric Fongué was lethal from beyond the arc, hitting 5 of 8 three-point attempts.
This collective effort showcases the depth and resilience of the Lions, proving that the team is a force to be reckoned with, even when faced with roster challenges.
