In a move that signals an exciting new chapter for Fyllingen Lions, we are thrilled to announce the addition of Louise Mohn to our Board. Her presence on the board marks the beginning of a transformative era for Fyllingen Lions, one that will be defined by her extraordinary ability to blend business direction with a deep-rooted dedication to community development.

Louise Mohn is well-acclaimed for being a pioneer and innovative leader. With a long career that spans multiple continents, she has consistently demonstrated an exceptional capacity for pioneering new ventures and driving positive change. Her entrepreneurial journey has taken her from the USA to the UK and back to Norway, where she has launched businesses, and provided support to various philanthropic organizations around the world. Currently, she serves at Luzmon Medical AS, where her work in active rehabilitation exemplifies her commitment to health and well-being. Additionally, as an investor and board member at Meteva Eiendom AS, Louise continues to channel her expertise into ventures that make a lasting impact.

However, It is her work with Meteva Sport og Helse that truly captures the essence of Louise's heart and life-long mission. This non-profit organization, which she founded, is a testament to her belief in the power of collaboration and community. Meteva Sport og Helse is dedicated to creating a healthier, more connected world for children and young people, both locally, nationally and globally. Through this initiative, Louise has forged a platform that not only addresses the immediate needs of communities but also fosters long-term growth and independence for the generation. She already financially supports eight basketball clubs in western Norway. Deeply rooted in the Norwegian Basketball Associationโ€™s strategic Basket Plan 2028 to recruit more girls, she has founded Basketakademiet, all while being a leader in lifting equality and inclusivity across the country.

Since the Spring, Louise has played an instrumental role in shaping the rebranding and operational strategies of Fyllingen Lions. Her focus on cultivating a values-based basketball program has already begun to resonate throughout the organization, laying the groundwork for a culture that prioritizes integrity, internal teamwork, external collaboration, and personal development. Louise's influence extends beyond the basketball court; it is her vision of a holistic approach to nurturing and believing in young talent that will guide Fyllingen Lions into the future.

Louise's expertise aligns perfectly with the goals and aspirations of Fyllingen Lions. Her ability to inspire, innovate, and implement change will be invaluable as we continue to expand our programs and deepen our impact on the community. Her direct support combined with her active participation on the board, will propel our efforts to create a nurturing and empowering environment for our young athletes.

As we welcome Louise Mohn to the Fyllingen Lions family, we do so with great anticipation and excitement. Her journey with us is celebrated, and we are highly grateful she is elevating our basktell organization to new heights. Together, we look forward to making a profound difference in the lives of young people, both in Bergen and beyond. Welcome aboard, Louise! Your vision and passion will light the way for Fyllingen Lions as we embark on this exciting new chapter.
