We are delighted to announce that Harald Reyes will be joining the Fyllingen Lions as our new Managing Director. Harald brings a wealth of international experience, a proven track record in management, and an inspiring passion for sports and community engagement. With a career spanning global cities and industries, Harald’s diverse expertise and leadership skills will be invaluable as we continue to elevate the Fyllingen Lions into a new era of growth and community engagement. 

Harald, 41, is a former top basketball player who won nationally and played in NEBL (Northern European Basketball League) with Ulriken Eagles and played high school basketball in the USA. He grew up in Slettebakken, where afternoons and summers were spent at the local sports park, fueling his lifelong love for athletics. Harald holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing and a Master’s degree in Luxury Management, which have laid the foundation for his successful career managing top fashion and retail brands across Milan, London, and Oslo before settling back in Bergen in 2016. This summer Harald completed the Executive Master’s course Sustainable Business Strategy at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

Harald’s most recent role as Export Manager at Oleana Knitwear saw him leading international sales strategies and managing a global network of agents, distributors, and retailers. Previously, he served as General Manager of Paradis Tennis Club and the Bergen Tennis Arena, where he successfully modernized operations, secured long-term financial stability, and developed key strategic initiatives that positioned the club as one of Norway’s leading tennis organizations.

Harald’s strategic mindset, honed through years of leadership in both sports and business, aligns perfectly with Fyllingen Lions’ goals of nurturing young talent and creating a values-based basketball program. His experience in financial management, operations, and international sales will be pivotal in guiding our organization through new opportunities.

As we welcome Harald Reyes to the Fyllingen Lions family, we are excited about the fresh perspectives and dynamic leadership he brings. With his rich background in sports, and deep-rooted commitment to community development, Harald is set to lead us into a bright and prosperous future.
