Another Win For The Fyllingen Lions

After a controlled victory over Nidaros Jets in Trondheim just 24 hours earlier, the Lions followed up with an impressive triumph over the Centrum Tigers at Vulkanhallen on Sunday.

In an exhilarating showdown between two of the Norwegian league's top teams, Fyllingen Lions guard, Bouna Black N'Diaye, led the charge with an outstanding performance that earned him the Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6. The 32-year-old guard scored a game-high 39 points, adding six rebounds and three assists to secure a 99-90 victory over league leader Centrum (7-1), elevating Fyllingen's record to 6-2 and holding onto their 2nd place standing in the league.

N'Diaye’s performance was nothing short of stellar, hitting five three-pointers out of 10 attempts and showing impressive accuracy with 47.6% from beyond the arc. As the league’s top scorer, averaging 31.3 points per game, N'Diaye has quickly proven himself a crucial asset in his first season with the Lions. His exceptional contributions have helped Fyllingen Lions remain strong contenders, and his standout abilities have brought excitement and hope to the fans.

Fyllingen now heads to Slovakia to face Inter Bratislava in their second ENBL game on Wednesday.
